Case study on AI logo redesign

In this logo redesign case study, we examine how an AI-generated logo can be improved through real design thinking, better structure, and clean vector execution. The result is a more refined logo that feels trustworthy, scalable, and ready for use across digital and print branding.
Before refining this AI-generated logo, we rotated it by 45 degrees to better understand the underlying structural issues and identify areas for improvement.
For a balanced and professional look, the top points on both sides of the kite shape should align along the same horizontal axis. This alignment ensures symmetry and creates a more stable and visually pleasing composition.
The curved, trailing element has no clear purpose on its own. While it could represent wind, this idea would need to be consistently repeated throughout the design to feel intentional. However, adding more of these elements would significantly alter the original concept. Since our goal is to stay true to the initial idea, this detail was ultimately removed to improve clarity.
Strong logo design relies on repetition and consistency of shapes. Visual elements should echo each other to create a cohesive and compact appearance. While the larger filled shape adds useful contrast, it feels disconnected without supporting forms that reinforce it.
The placement of the circle is critical. Since it can technically sit anywhere relative to the kite, it must align with key elements of the design. Otherwise, it appears arbitrary and disconnected from the composition.
Final Result
The kite shape was reconstructed using the intersection of symmetrical circles, creating a clean and geometrically consistent form. The background circle was then aligned centrally with the kite’s shorter ribbons and its nose, ensuring a clear visual relationship between all elements.
The final logo maintains a precise 45-degree angle, staying true to the original concept while significantly improving balance, clarity, and overall professionalism.
